It seems that most young brides who are planning a wedding don’t really know what they are doing. Not only are brides everywhere planning the most important day of their lives with little to no party planning experience, but they are also doing it with a huge amount of money. So if you are wondering how to plan wedding and aren't quite sure even where to start, then join the club. Many brides are confused when they start looking into everything that goes into planning a wedding. I remember how difficult it was to learn how to plan a wedding several years ago, with so many vendors and things to keep track of. So when I was considering how to plan wedding, I started in the wrong place. Here are a few of the choices I wish I could do over again the right way.

When I first started my own wedding planning, the first thing I did was to start booking locations for our wedding and reception. Turns out, I made one of the classic mistakes when they start planning their wedding. So instead of doing what most new brides do, come up with your game plan of a wedding budget and rough guest list. Coming up with a budget and guest list may be tedious, but you’ll be glad that you did. Determine what your wedding budget will be by looking at your own finances and asking if family is planning on contributing and then allot for the different things you want in your wedding. Coming up with a rough guest list is so that you can plan accordingly for just how many people could be in attendance. So, it's pointless and a waste of money if you put a deposit on a reception and ceremony venues that hold 500 if you only have 150 on the guest list. It only makes sense for you to settle down and create a game plan for your wedding planning before spending anything.

How to Plan Wedding – And Not Get Taken

Another thing that brides need to worry about is dealing with the right kinds of wedding vendors.There are lotswedding vendors out there who assume that they can overcharge for their services just because they work in the wedding industry. The fact is, some vendors know that most brides don’t know how to plan wedding and don't know how much their services should cost. So do your homework.

Whatever you do, don’t get discouraged. Learn to negotiate for the best prices, and where to go to find better prices even if the wedding vendors in your town won’t listen to reason. You can have your dream wedding on any budget that you have to work with if you know how to work it!
